Thomas' move to Bootle is perhaps significant in that his brother William Tobias BURNETT was a publican in Bootle and died there in 1896. It would be interesting to know how close togther their respective addresses were.

Thomas died in 1908, his wife Martha survived him by three years, she died in 1911. Both of their deaths were registered in the West Derby district of Lancashire.
